Hello ladies!
I am again very happy to bring to you an outfit for our modest Fashion Show. We have been so very blessed by this young lady as a mentor in both outfit inspiration and sewing helps, especially when it comes to vintage fashion. She is one of the trio of the beloved Boyer Family Singers blog that have blessed so many of us girls in the blogging realm. Shall we take a peek at the outfit she is sporting today and allow her to introduce herself?
Hello everyone!
I am so excited to be participating in
the Shashaguay sisters' fashion show! Oh, and I'd better introduce
myself. My name is Brigid Boyer, I am known as the Middle Sister &
Singer over at our little blog The Boyer Family Singers {http://boyerfamilysingers. blogspot.com}.
I love sewing, singing with my sisters, modest vintage fashion, my
family, community, and most importantly my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
About
my outfit: Since this is a Fabulously Feminine Fashion show, I decided
to set my mind to the task of coming up with my most feminine, but not
too dressy outfit, that was NOT a dress. The first things that come to
my mind when I think of feminine fashion are: Lace, pearls or diamonds
(or cameos too!), and the color pink! So those are the themes that I
cobbled together into this outfit. My lace blouse is a thrift store find
from F21. The sleeves were a bit too long for summer wear, so I rolled
them up. To that I added my homemade (best-made!) pink 1/2 circle skirt.
In deciding what shoes to wear, I debated between heels and ballerina
flats. I decided to keep the somewhat ballerina theme of my skirt, and
chose my practical flats. To finish off my ensemble I added a gorgeous
blue necklace, and some purple/blue rhinestone earrings (which you can't
really see in the photos. Sorry!). I would most likely wear this outfit
to Church or a nice dinner.
Thanks so much Cassie and Rebekah
for hosting this fashion show! It has been so much fun! I hope you all
will stop by our little blog if you haven't already, and say hello!
Blessings in Him,
Brigid Boyer
Lace Blouse: Thrifted, F21 // Skirt: Me-made // Ballerina Flats: Payless Shoe-source // Necklace: Gift // Earrings: ?
Isn't Brigid's outfit just as darling as can be? Her high-waisted skirt brings her favorite vintage feel into the mix of delicious feminine beauty that shines from the lightest candy pink skirt, lacy top, flamboyant curls, and delicate necklace.
Thank you so much Brigid for your entry! We are so blessed by you!
Blessings,
Cassie

What a beautiful outfit! I would wear it in a heartbeat. :) That lace blouse makes the whole outfit so very feminine. Now I must go find one for myself!

ReplyDeleteBrigid, you look stunning! I love how feminine your outfit is, and it's perfect for summer! Your lace top is beautiful, and personally, I think that is the perfect length for a skirt! Absolutely beautiful! :)
