Hello Again!

Hello everyone! Today I have a little catch up post for y'all! The last few months since I've shared the news here about Caleb and I have brought on new challenges, not only the learning of all the ins and outs of being in a relationship, but just the joy of young adulthood in general. Like car maintenance. Blah. But also crazy AMAZING joys like meeting friends at a super special wedding over 2,000 miles away!

Hello everyone! Back in August (my birthday month) a dear friend of mine sent me something from her Esty shop! I knew as soon as I opened her thoughtful package that I'd just have to share a post on the blog here featuring it and her shop as I knew a bunch of you would just adore her sense of creativity and style choice!

Hello dear friends! Michigan Spring is making it's usual teases of warm and sunny, in the high of 50F one day, to 30F below and 2" of snow the next day. But it's kinda expected after all these years of living in our fine Great Lakes State, so we've been taking it with stride as usual, making those ever "around-the-corner" days of Summer ahead ever more a prize.

Yay! A new year is just about to start! With the New Year comes the anticipation of what will take place within the next days and months ahead that we'll all switch from writing '2015' to '2016'! With anticipation also comes excitement of what can so quickly ensue as we each have seen in years past. I don't want to dwell on this fact alone today, but rather share just a couple quick things with you.

Hi all! Hope that you've had a great weekend! Today is going to be fabulous for those of you who have been enjoying Peek in the Past these last two weeks that I've started it up because I'm here to share something that is quite it's twin. A couple weeks back, Brigid Boyer (from the Boyer family Singers Blog) and I were talking over Instagram about our beloved vintage magazines, booklets, and catalogs. The conversation quickly evolved from, "I wish I could have a look at what you've got!" into "Let's share them on our blogs so all can enjoy, how 'bout it?" (Of course, what would one expect from two passionate vintage lovers?) ;)  After setting a date to both publish on/getting the okay from all our sisters involved, we were set. Oh we're excited!

Helloo again! I sure hope that your Thanksgiving Day found you all well! It’s been a busy week for us, what with Thanksgiving preparations, our Grandmother’s surprise Birthday party (of which both our family was soul cooks for), me working, and Bek busy with end of the year schoolwork, blogging didn’t fit into our schedule, especially after Internet connection havoc! Oh goodness! Anyway, I did have a super exciting package arrive in our mailbox a week past, that I had been awaiting since July! Fresh Apparel’s neat little package, containing my T-shirt for backing Olivia’s new clothing line, was just what I needed at the end of a long work day.

Hello lovelies! I have had  a great weekend getting back into the life of things around my own house again after having been gone most of this past week. I do recall letting you all know a few weeks ago that I would be helping my cousin and her husband out for a few days- taking care of their little ones- but the date was misunderstood- thus it was this week! Anyways....

Everything went great and I am ever so happy to be home again!
