Peek in the Past // 1932 Sears & Roebuck Pt. 4 // Girls & Ladys Outdoor and Sports Wear

Peek in the Past S&R Part 4 Banner
Hi all! I hope that you all had a great weekend and that the downpour of snow here in MI and our sister states did not cause any cancellations of events or road troubles for you! Though our church did cancel services, we did have a fine weekend. It was nice to have our own family time here at home on Saturday (since church was cancelled that day) after such a busy week, and then yesterday, having a grand ol' time celebrating our Grandfather's 70th. birthday with my Mom's side of the family. :) Anywho, I'm happy to be bringing y'all part four of my 1932 Sears & Roebuck catalog! And are these pages ever fun!

Peek in the Past // 1932 Sears & Roebuck Pt. 3 // Lady's Coats & Stout Sized Frocks

Peek into the Past 1932 Pt.3 Banner
Hey all! I hope that you are not getting tired of seeing clips from the 1932 Sears & Roebuck yet! Because if you are, there is so much more to see from this catalog that I'm afraid you may get quite bored! But if you are one still as excited as when I first shared from it's pages, well then, hop abroad to see a collection of mainly lady's coats from all shapes and sizes, and we'll see if we can't get the bored ones enthralled again with a few pages more of ladies frocks to boot!

Peek in the Past Pt.2 // 1932 Sears & Roebuck // Junior's, House Frocks, & Coats

Peek into the Past 1932 Pt.2 Banner
Hello all! I'm excited to be bringing in Part 2 of our newest series here on the blog, Peek in the Past, because today we're going to see some of what we girls would have worn had we lived during the 30's! Though the selection of junior's house frocks and dining attire is quite compact, there are some fabulous things shown of which we'd be able to choose from! I'm also sharing the first few full fledged color ads! So read on why don't you!

Peek in the Past Pt.1 // 1932 Sears & Roebuck // Lady's Dresses

Happy Monday all! Boy, I've got something fabulous to share with all my vintage loving friends today! My Mother found me a simply wonderful gift and I'm bursting to get started with showing it to y'all. What tis it to be exact? Why it's a Sears and Roebuck catalog, straight from 1932! After only looking through a few of it's worn browned pages (and it's part sections of full on colored ones!!!) I excitedly posted a photo (with a few other treasures I had received) on a social media site, and once I got some requests to "make sure to share that on the Blog", I knew I'd have to bring y'all with me, for a peek into the past.
