Magazine Monday // August 1928 Delineator

Hi all! Hope that you've had a great weekend! Today is going to be fabulous for those of you who have been enjoying Peek in the Past these last two weeks that I've started it up because I'm here to share something that is quite it's twin. A couple weeks back, Brigid Boyer (from the Boyer family Singers Blog) and I were talking over Instagram about our beloved vintage magazines, booklets, and catalogs. The conversation quickly evolved from, "I wish I could have a look at what you've got!" into "Let's share them on our blogs so all can enjoy, how 'bout it?" (Of course, what would one expect from two passionate vintage lovers?) ;)  After setting a date to both publish on/getting the okay from all our sisters involved, we were set. Oh we're excited!

Hello all! I'm excited to be bringing in Part 2 of our newest series here on the blog, Peek in the Past, because today we're going to see some of what we girls would have worn had we lived during the 30's! Though the selection of junior's house frocks and dining attire is quite compact, there are some fabulous things shown of which we'd be able to choose from! Happy Monday all! Boy, I've got something fabulous to share with all my vintage loving friends today! My Mother found me a simply wonderful gift and I'm bursting to get started with showing it to y'all. What tis it to be exact? Why it's a Sears and Roebuck catalog, straight from 1932! After only looking through a few of it's worn browned pages (and it's part sections of full on colored ones!!!) I excitedly posted a photo (with a few other treasures I had received) on a social media site, and once I got some requests to "make sure to share that on the Blog", I knew I'd have to bring y'all with me, for a peek into the past.
