Hello everyone! Today I have a little catch up post for y'all! The last few months since I've shared the news here about Caleb and I have brought on new challenges, not only the learning of all the ins and outs of being in a relationship, but just the joy of young adulthood in general. Like car maintenance. Blah. But also crazy AMAZING joys like meeting friends at a super special wedding over 2,000 miles away!

Hello everyone! Our trip to the U.P. went amazingly and I'm super excited to show you'll the time we had! But while we sift through the pictures (and believe me, there's a slew!), I thought I'd take this lazy cold afternoon to share the details of one last item I completed for the Civil War muster for a friend of mine last month!

We've wanted to take a family vacation for quite some time and what better a time than Feast of Tabernacles, eh? What better a time to head to the northern part of our beloved state than at the very peak of autumnal colors? Yes, we're headed to the UP with plenty of books, games, and camp chairs in tow! If you're traveling this fine season, may YHWH watch over you and bless your time with friends and family!

Why I // Wear Tassels (What are Tzitzit?)

Happy weekend to y'all! Today I want to address a topic that I know you all have had questions about. Those of you who have come out and asked about those strange looking tassels you'll sometimes see me wearing now, may have gotten your curiosity satisfied, but I thought it a good idea to type up a post so that even those who have not questioned them can know the reasons behind me wearing them as well. And then I can too can refer new readers back to this post if need be!
So what are these tassels for? Why do I wear them? These are the questions I want to cover today!

Hello dears! Life continues to be a bit crazy now that summer's in full swing; blueberry farm work and my regular nannying job. But every once in a while you get that little break from the rush of life's daily toils and boy is it nice! This past Sunday I was invited to attend church with the family who's kids I watch as they had a picnic afterwords! Happy Independence Day to y'all! We celebrated our country's birthday of freedom a day early this year, so I'm able to share with you all this post of our happenings along with my outfit I sported over the weekend day-of! As we light fireworks, have cookouts with friends and family, and sport the red white and blue of our grand old flag for the 240th year and counting of our country's liberation, may we all not be caught up in merely the festivities, but the reason we celebrate and to those we should be forever grateful to.

Passover (2016)

Happy first week of June to y'all! Where is this year going to so quickly?! I've wanted to get this post out the last couple of weeks, but each time I ended up blogging another post. Passover for our household has consisted of varying events over the years, but since we've been keeping the feast days consecutively for the past two and a half, this past Pesach was different than we've had before since this time we were able to just have our own family remembrance and learn deeper together what this special time is for, bringing us closer to the Father in understanding His ways for us as members of the Body.
