Day to Day // Warm Spring

Hey! Happy Thursday to you!
I thought I'd pop in to share a quick outfit with y'all! Life is about to get busy this weekend, as our family is in charge of our Church's annual yard sale, which will be held this Friday and Saturday. Lately, life has had it's ups and downs not so much as sad and happy moments, but as in crazy busy or normal and mundane.

“For the Lord shall comfort Zion:
He will comfort all her waste places;
and He will make her wilderness like Eden,
and her desert like the garden of the Lord;
joy and gladness shall be found therein.”
~ Isaiah 51:3 ~

These words were a special comfort to me today. Yesterday I was feeling pretty put-upon- just a jumble of feelings of why I was feeling so grumpy toward why we have to do so much, especially everything for our church lately. Yikes! That is definitely not my usual behavior or something that I want to stick around! I am so thankful that the LORD comforts us everywhere we are! Even when our wrong attitudes are what are making us discouraged!
 My Mom found this fabulously unique sweater while we were on a quick shopping day a month or so ago. I just love it! I wasn't sure what I was going to pair it with so I pulled out the unexpected black to really make the sweater stand out. I ended up really liking it, especially since I got to wear this slightly boho belt that I have had hidden away. To keep the sharp bohemian style going, I put my hair up into a side-swept bun and added some rein-stone bobby pins.

Thanks for stopping by for my quick post everyone! And thanks ever so much to each of you for your prayers for our coming trip! Each time I read that you are praying for our safety and guidance, I am so thankful!
Do you have any packing tips for us?
Smiles and hugs,
Cassie

  5. I love your outfit Cassey! It actually came off looking sixties to me, but that is probably because I am seeing you from a far away perspective. Your hair looks like something I would pull off a couple years ago... sigh... I need to grow out mine again.

    As for packing tips, I always put in more undergarments than I need, and I also like to put my shoes on top of all my cloths with the heals facing up. Hope you have a glorious rest of your week!

    B.T.W. We girls are holding our Fundraising Concert this evening (squeal!!)! Just thought I would share! (The funds are going towards a CD we would like to produce sometime next year. Pray for us!
