New Blog Series // Thrifted Treasures

Hey girls! I'm popping in to share with you all a fun new series that's about to air here on the blog next week. We blogging buddies like many of the same things in life, natural remedies, homeschooling, dressing modestly, becoming homemakers (sorry guys, I guess this post is veered toward us girls:), but what is one thing that we enjoy to do on our free time while shopping around our closest town? Thrifting of course!

Most of you, being bloggers yourself, I would dare to say that, at times, we can feel somewhat, (dare I say it?) uninspired. That's right, we are humans too and doing the same old, same old, can get well, old. :) So I want to start up a couple fun series soon that we can build on to make our Blog all that can be.

As I was thinking of what those might be, I thought, how about something to do with our way of shopping? You know, how we find both what we need and want for a fraction of the original cost. What a great idea, eh?

I'm excited to share something new and see what you all think of this idea! I'm thinking of putting in tips on how we thrift, vintage items that we purchase and the history about them, and just our thrifting hauls in general! What do you think?

So all, please do leave me some feed back on what you have to add about this venture and maybe some ideas of your own that we could graft into it all! Also, if you have another idea of something that you would like to see pop up on your Blogger dashboard from us, feel free to make that request
known!

What do you think of this series idea?
Do you have any more thoughts to add?
Do you have an idea of your own that we could make into an on-going series?

Much love,
Cassie

  1. Oooh, this will be a fun series! :) I look forward to it.
I don't have any ideas for other series, but a fun idea for this one might be comparing prices of something from a more... *hem*... spendy brand to what the company charges for something new.

  2. I love this idea! I really like looking forward to posts and kind of wondering what the pictures will be when I already have an idea of what the theme is. And I am definitely looking forward to a thrifting series!!

  3. Great idea! Looking forward to it! This past summer, 2014, at a garage sale, (where else?), I got a Pulsar watch for 25 cents! CENTS! We looked it up online, and it was $40 new! Whew! I love thrift-shopping, etc. Recently my watch wristband broke. Any ideas, other than a jeweler? It ran great, was in good condition, except a little tarnish, but who cares!
