Kitchen Update // Vol. 2 Installing the Cabinets

Mis12
Hey there all! I'm actually getting quite behind already on sharing the journey of our long awaited kitchen remodel; we have gotten that much done since my first posting which covered just the flooring, that I thought I'd better get going again! So here I am with an update of the cabinets being hauled in and hung! I hope you enjoy!

Once all the outer cabinets were in from the pole-barn, the sorting began! It's quite amazing to see all of them actually in their correct places instead of on top of each other in the barn or just their measurements drawn in on drafting paper! Just wait till you see...

For the two large islands, a few friends of Dad's came to our aid in helping to haul them. Unfortunately I really don't have any pictures of that escapade, but their many jokes of hoping they would fit through the door and how many guys it took to put the front door back on after (it had to be removed so they would clear the door-frame) will always be a joyful imprint on them, even if we don't have any photos to look back on. :)

And here we are! All accordingly measured out and put into place! Plus that last photo is kinda a sneak-peek. ;) Can't wait till the next update friends!

We've been asked many times if we where "getting excited" about how the kitchen was coming in the past years. Not till now can I truthfully say a hearty yes to that question! I am finally excited and beyond in love with this beautiful space YHWH has blessed us with.

Shalom,
