Hello everyone! Today I have a little catch up post for y'all! The last few months since I've shared the news here about Caleb and I have brought on new challenges, not only the learning of all the ins and outs of being in a relationship, but just the joy of young adulthood in general. Like car maintenance. Blah. But also crazy AMAZING joys like meeting friends at a super special wedding over 2,000 miles away!

Lately // Sara's Birthday Bash

Hello dearies! I have so much to blog these days, but hardly time to catch up and type up the posts! One of those events that has kept me quite from the blog here all last week, is this absolutely splendid party our family helped throw for our dear dear friend Sara's 18th birthday & graduation celebration! We had loads of fun prepping it all for a cheery shabby-chic style in the event barn were we work summers at! Hope you enjoy seeing a glimpse of what that fabulous past Sunday looked like!

Hello everyone! Well, we made it through Tulip Time! This week is going great; the recovery of such an event can lots of times linger around for a few weeks, but this year I think we've already done quite well at getting things put away till next year and putting the house in order again. I think it helps too to make sure you don't rush into a busy coming period as well; that's just what we did the day these photos were taken before the hectic week came!-- took a jaunt down to the creek!

Spring 2016

The days of open windows and bare feet are upon us in our Michigan State. Finally the season of back and forth business of one week with snow, the next with warm rain seem to have made their last debut and flowers are blooming, birds are singing, and little new born critters are beginning to be seen scampering more now that the cooler temps aren't keeping them under their borrows.

Hello everyone! The last couple months went by in such a whir that this post got pushed to the back burner as they say. But I wanted to be sure to share this event with you all as well as for us to have a place to look back on it with fond memories of these days we spent building up a long awaited structure.

Happy Saturday to you! The weather here in Michigan has been quite peculiar even for our usual un-exspectancties! We've still not had a good snow storm and have not seen a trace of those little white fluffs since before Thanksgiving now. I guess for we'll just have to try to enjoy the brown bareness and chase the greenery that is still lingering until that pearly blanket comes.

Hi there! It's crazy how time seems to literally fly by, before you can even take a chance to look at the sky's clouds; it's as if tomorrow becomes last week without even a second glance. Hi everybody! I'm super excited to bring this outfit post to you today because it has literally been on the "future blog posts" list for months! Way back in June of last year, Olivia of Fresh Modesty launched a Kick-starter for her new line of clothing, specifically her Errand #17 skirt. I knew as soon as I heard the news that I wanted to be a part of her dream in helping her out in any way I could. So I backed her financially and could hardly wait till my goodies arrived; that being my Fresh Apparel T-shirt and, this simply wonderful denim skirt.
