Hello everyone! Back in August (my birthday month) a dear friend of mine sent me something from her Esty shop! I knew as soon as I opened her thoughtful package that I'd just have to share a post on the blog here featuring it and her shop as I knew a bunch of you would just adore her sense of creativity and style choice! 

Outfit // Comfort Zones

Hello dears! Life continues to be a bit crazy now that summer's in full swing; blueberry farm work and my regular nannying job. But every once in a while you get that little break from the rush of life's daily toils and boy is it nice! This past Sunday I was invited to attend church with the family who's kids I watch as they had a picnic afterwords! I readily accepted the invite, and as you may have guessed, this is what I donned for the occasion.

Happy Independence Day to y'all! We celebrated our country's birthday of freedom a day early this year, so I'm able to share with you all this post of our happenings along with my outfit I sported over the weekend day-of! As we light fireworks, have cookouts with friends and family, and sport the red white and blue of our grand old flag for the 240th year and counting of our country's liberation, may we all not be caught up in merely the festivities, but the reason we celebrate and to those we should be forever grateful to.

Hello everyone! Before the weekend escapes me I'm checking in to share a quick outfit post with you. When we headed out to do the Jamberry nail wrap photo shoot, we ended up playing in the sun whilst Bek snapped pics of me. Some are a bit too comical for the blog if you ask me, but there's a few that I felt wouldn't be too embarrassing! Haha! The small meadow next to our house was just so beautiful at sundown one night last week.

Hi there! It's crazy how time seems to literally fly by, before you can even take a chance to look at the sky's clouds; it's as if tomorrow becomes last week without even a second glance. Before you know it you're a year older, a week behind in blogging, finally wearing a skirt you've been searching all winter past to find, and suddenly realize that life just does not slow down without extreme effort.

Hi all!
Our week's over here, are just seeming to fly by! Each Sabbath that comes along brings another week that brings us closer to the fall months ahead. How is it that the middle of August has already come?! We have filled our days with many commitments such as blueberry grading, food pantry volunteering, and my new cleaning job! I suppose that is the reason too that this outfit (which was planned for Saturday) has been secluded until now. Want to take a peek?

Outfit || A Daring Dress

 At least...daring for me.This brown stretchy sundress rotated in and out of our give-away pile for quite a while. I was looking for something 'new' to wear and spotted this hanging in our *'sell or keep' area in the laundry room. [*Our family does consignment.] I wasn't sure if it would work or not but decided to at least try it on. 

Outfit || Mellow Yellow

Mondays. The day of the week that seems to fly by, yet at the same time moves slowly along like an ambling walk. We try our best to prepare for the coming week and look ahead to the highlight that my be in view, if only there was not so many days that we have to work through to get there right?
I am thinking of this as a metaphor today as I bring back memories of our lonesome days after our church family was struggling. When our friends, all but one had gone. Had moved on. Firstly I am astounded at how we worked through the struggles and heartbreak during that time. How did those days go by? And at how our Heavenly Father kept us close and brought our family closer as we kept our hearts in the right place and did not waver. The years seem all so complete now. The pain is covered, it is still there in many ways, but covered with new love and fast friends. He helped, carried us through, always giving us a hope that we had better things ahead- that holiday to look forward to at the weekend.
