How do you like the March photo-a-day banner? [I made it on picmonkey.] |
Friday: a cup of 'marshmellowed' hot chocolate. |
Saturday: our first flower this year- a gerber daisy. |
Sunday: our brother looking at something in the sky while we take our outfit pics. [And our van being jumped in the background.] |
Monday: a collection of wasp nests [in a mason jar] that I found while mucking out Havah's stall. |
Tuesday: our new schoolroom furniture. [We're re-organizing and getting rid of a lot of stuff too...] |
Wednesday: photos I took while doing the evening chores- sometimes I can't decide on just one picture. That's when I make collages! |
Thursday: Cassie reading in our schoolroom. |
Today: it's a wonderful feeling [At least to me...] to be stocked up on mash! |
Thanks so much for all of your encouragement in this series!
Now- time to go grocery shopping!

Just to let you all know...we are still working on the Haystack Hymns idea but it may take a while to figure everything out! [Not to mention our voices are still not quite ship-shape due to recent colds.] We hope to start the series in the near future though! In meanwhile- what are some of your favorite hymns and folk songs? We were thinking of "Come Thou Fount" or "I've Been Redeemed" for the first video. Your thoughts? ~R.
Aw, that second picture {in your collage} of your chicken is so cute! I have chickens too-I know how hard it sometimes is to get a good picture-they're moving all the time! :D
ReplyDeleteGreat photos! I especially like the one of the wasp nests in the jar. :)
ReplyDeleteI love the Hymn "It is Well With My Soul". You should do that one!

I really like the photo of the first spring flower! And the picture of the speckled hen is quite funny – she looks kinda grumpy, if you know what I mean! Ha ha!
ReplyDeleteI know this is a well used Hymn, but "Amazing Grace" would be lovely!

DeleteHi there girls!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful idea this is. I've been taking a picture of the sunset every night, which is sort of similar to this, but have never done a specific photo a day project. I just might have to soon!
These are really great photos and i enjoyed each one, though my favorite might be the wasp nests in a jar or the collage. I love how they're all so different, yet fit together to tell a story.
So neat that you have farm animals. I assume the stall you were mucking is a horse stall? I LOVE horses, and though i don't have any of my own, my dog, Daisy, and i like to frolic about on a relatives farm every so often.
I Iove that you ladies are home-schooled and God-fearing, I am too!
You have a great blog and wonderful photography. Keep up the great work!
~Abigail
